Project Actions
Action no.1
The project aims to improve career guidance processes for people with disabilities across partner countries. The first step involves creating and applying an evaluation tool to assess the quality of current guidance processes. The survey will cover aspects such as the guidance counsellor’s profile, methodology, and the impact of COVID-19 on job search and the labour market. Comparative analysis of the results will highlight positive aspects of existing models, which will be used to develop a Handbook.
At a transnational meeting in Romania in mid-April 2023, the partners will analyze the results and equitably divide work to develop the «Job4Dis Manual» within the established timeframe. The coordinating partner will manage deadlines, expenditure, and documentation while evaluating the project based on quality criteria. The three partners will carry out dissemination tasks to publicize the project’s results.
Overall, the project seeks to enhance career guidance processes, promote social inclusion, and help build a more equitable society.
Action no.2
Having obtained the results of the previous activity, and having analyzed the weaknesses and strengths of the career guidance models for people with disabilities that are being used in Europe, the partners will develop a Career Guidance Manual to unify and improve the effectiveness of guidance processes for people with disabilities in Europe. The manual, titled «Job4Dis», will contain six chapters covering topics such as changes in the labour market after Covid19, employability skills, and guidance processes based on the type of disability.
«La Brújula Inclusive Training», will be responsible for developing chapters 2 and 4, while «AJOFM Vaslui» and «EQUALINE» will develop chapters 1, 5 and 3, 6 respectively.
The handbook will be publicly available on the project’s website and translated into English and the three languages of the project member countries, namely Greek, Romanian and Spanish. The dissemination activities will be carried out by all partners in an equitable manner, coordinated by «EQUALINE».
